Reading on the Couch or on the Bed?  Well, I primarily read on the couch, or in a cozy recliner, but my absolute favorite is neither couch nor bed. I adore reading on the ground, surrounded by pillows, near a roaring fireplace. Bonus points if there is a beautiful storm raging outside. Extra bonus points if I’ve got a glass of wine or an old fashioned in hand as well.

Male main character or Female main character?  Gotta go with female here. It’s easier for me to connect with a female character, but I adore the men, too.

Sweet Snacks or Salty Snacks when reading?  Sweet. Candy and baked goods are my waterloo.

Trilogies or Quartets?  Uhhh…I have honestly never thought of it before. I suppose it depends on if all of the books feel necessary to the series. Sometimes when a series gets too long, books feel unnecessary and feel like filler. There is probably less chance of that happening with a trilogy.

First Person Point of View or Third Person Point of View?  Oh dear. I don’t know!!! Too many difficult questions!!! I like both, but it depends on the story.

Reading at Night or in the Morning? I love reading in the morning! There is something so extravagant about being able to relax with a cup of coffee and a book in the morning, knowing that you can spend your first moments in a state of solitude, but I rarely get to experience that. So night reading is what I do the most! I have trouble sleeping, so will sometimes be awake until very late reading away.

Libraries or Bookstores? Oh no. I can’t choose. No way. Libraries have FREE BOOKS. So….yeah. But bookstores have books that you can keep forever and take pretty pictures of, and loan to your friends. Soo….nope. Can’t choose!!

Books that make you Laugh or make you Cry? I have to go with books that make me cry. Laughter is great, but I actually am not too fond of funny books. But I also don’t really like comedians, and I’m really picky about sitcoms (Friends, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, and I Love Lucy are really the only ones I watch). That “forced funny” just doesn’t interest me.

Black Book Covers or White Book Covers? I guess black. I never really thought about it before, but a white cover just screams nonfiction to me.

Character-Driven or Plot-Driven stories? Character-driven! Without a good character, the story means nothing.
